The cutting edge of technology! Oocyte aspiration is the process of removing the oocytes (eggs) directly from the mare’s ovary with an ultrasound-guided aspiration needle. Those oocytes are then shipped to an injection lab for ICSI.

Vista Equine accepts donor mares to be managed onsite by our veterinary team, we also accept embryos shipped in from donor mares managed across the country, and derived from other ICSI labs, and embryos that have been maintained in frozen storage.
